Shawnee Smith (5' 3") is a American television and film actress. Smith may be most well-known as Amanda Young, in the Saw film series as well as Linda Becker in CBS's sitcom Becker. Smith once fronted the metal band Fydolla Ho, with whom she toured the United States and the United Kingdom and is half of Smith & Pyle a rock group that features actor Missi Pyle. The parents of Shawnee Smith are Jim Smith and Patricia Smith. Jim Smith was an ex-pilot in the United States Air Force. He was also a financial planner and oncology specialist. After moving from South Carolina, her family settled in Van Nuys California. Her mother was married for 8 years after her divorce. She attended Ranchito Avenue Elemntary School in Panorama City Los Angeles. Madison Jr. High was located in North Hollywood. She was a graduate of North Hollywood High School, North Hollywood California in 1987. The following year, she appeared as a solo artist in What am I planning to do with My life now? The tour included a residency for a period of one month on the stage at Just For Laughs.
